Three
New Team Members
Everyone welcome our three newest team members; Matt Coward has joined the team. He has been associated with the team as a mercenary for a while but has now officially joined the team. Thomas Drury, another Interlander, has also joined the team. He played his first airsoft game on the 27th and had a good enough time to say that he would be back and that he would like to join the team. He did a good job as a medic his first time out as well. Lastly, but certainly not leastly, Chuck Thornton, who has been an honorary member of Team Blackjack for quite some time, has officially joined the team Welcome to all of our new team members!
Operation:
Urgent Harvest
Planning and preparation for this event is now in full swing. Keep an eye on the forums, emails and team pages for information on what's going on and what is upcoming with this event that we have been talking about for going on two years now. Prop building, mission scripting, marketing, sponsor finding, there is lots to still be done so if you want to take an active part or have an idea for something, speak up and make it loud!
New
Grenade Rule at Georgia Airsoft
In an effort to foster greater safety for the game at Georgia Airsoft we have adopted a new rule in dealing with bunkers in close quarters battle. To avoid point-blank range shots at each other, each player may carry a tennis ball to represent a grenade. When engaging people inside a bunker, instead of rushing in or shooting you toss the "grenade" into the bunker and yell "GRENADE!" to draw attention to the fact that a grenade has just been employed. Any players in the bunker with the grenade are then dead. Each player may carry only one grenade and use it only once per scenario/game. Further limitations may be applied to the number that can be carried if necessary. Example: Each team may have a maximum number of grenades that can be carried per team.
