Background:
Don moved to
Atlanta
in 1992 after graduating from the
University
of
Tennessee
with a degree in Architecture. After becoming a father in 2000, Don
agreed to forego his motorcycle for the next 18 years or so, but was left
pining for another exhilarating, escapist, and money consuming past time.
He turned to paintball in 2001, and has been heavily involved with
large scale scenario paintball to the present day. Friend and former
fellow paintballer Keith “Fallout” Leary introduced him to airsoft in
2005 at Urgent Gambit. Don took an immediate liking to the simplicity of
the sport, the refreshing maturity of the players as a whole, the
Hollywood-fantasy of the action, and playing dress-up. He
has a preference for playing OpFor, and has collected quite a bit of
Russian and German kit to that end.
